Bundle of Joy & My Favourite Stamp Giveaway!

Hello everyone,

First off, a big welcome to my blog's newest followers - I'm so glad to have you along on my crafting journey.  As promised, I am back with the next My Favourite Stamp Giveaway.  I was hoping to have a project to share with it, but time has not been on my side.

But before I get to the giveaway details, I do have a baby card to share.  People just don't seem to stop having babies! lol

Supplies:

Stamps - Sugar Nellie image, Stampin Up sentiment (retired)
Colouring - Distress Inks
Paper - all scraps - Hooray!! :) I don't remember the manufacturer, but it is a few years old I think
Other - safety pin + button from my stash, American Crafts lace, MS punch, ribbon and pearls

And now onto my latest favourite stamp.  I absolutely fell in love with the entire line of Jack, Patch and Puss stamps by LOTV.  Picking a favourite was exceptionally difficult, but I finally settled on this adorable image:

There is my stamped image, waiting for some love along with a new one waiting for a new home.  You can view the image and a card sample on LOTV's site here.

As before, this giveaway is open to everyone.  You do not have to be a follower, but if you like my 'work' then I would love it if you were.  To enter, simply leave a comment on this post telling me how/when you make time to get creative (maybe I'll learn something from you so that next time I can have a card ready to share lol).  If you leave a comment but do not tell me how you make time to get crafty, I will assume you do not want to be entered in the draw.  You have until July 29th at midnight (Mountain Daylight time) to enter and I will announce the winner here shortly after.

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you leave.  I love reading them and having the chance to visit you too.  I am slowly catching up with visits, so if I have not been by to see you yet, I will hopefully get there in the next couple of days.

Hugs & happy crafting,

Dawn

Dawn this is darling! I love your cute embellishment on the sentiment!

Oh. Making time to craft especially in the summer is hard! It use to be nap time for me, but I lost that this year. :-(, so now I just have to sneak if in when I can.

I SO admire your cards. They are always so lovely and this one is no exception! The little safety pin you made is just adorable. I need to get into "baby" mode as I have another grandchild coming in January! :)

Dawn, how sweet is this baby card - not a "typical" new birth card at all - LOVE the little stuffed animals all lined up to greet their new bundle of joy - and the pretty paper choices, too - another untraditional choice, which makes your card especially cute and unique. Now comes the pretty part - Looks so professional and dear - very VERY pretty! HUGS, DE

Hi Dawn!!! Love your cards!!!
I don't have a lot of time to get crafty, normally after my little daughter bedtime!!! So I try to get the inspiration during the day, and when I get to my crafty table I already have an idea of what I want to do...;)

I get crafty while the kids are t school. In the summertime I include them in my crafting more often.

Aawww, Dawn, this is such a darling baby card! The baby animals are supercute and most adorable and so beautifully coloured, too! During weekdays I can't get crafty, for then I have to work, but sometimes in the evening and usually in the weekends I tend to withdraw into my craft den ;-) (but the 'thinking' process usually takes place at odd hours ;-) Ira x

Hi Dawn,

Your baby card is adorable! I haven't had to make too many of them this year. Sweet image and your coloring is beautiful.

This card is adorable! I love those baby animals, and the sweet border around that panel. Love that green lace too!
How to sneak in crafty time...I used to do it after the kids went to bed, and then they realized I was still having fun so THAT got nixed, lol. It took me about 3-4 months, but I finally trained my night owl body to get up early - between 4-5 - and that gives me a few hours to myself before anyone is awake & in dire need of Mom. Then most nights I hit the bed at the same time as the kids (or before, lol). Much like parents can sense kids are up to no good, I think my kids can sense that I'm enjoying myself & that's gotta stop.

Hi Dawn hope you are keeping well . I so love this card the image is too cute and one that I hadnt seen. Love the pin. As for when do I get time to craft well time can be very tight now I have my Dog and running the kids to school and all the after school activities . So guess if i dont do it either first thing before I start my other duties or it ends up last thing when the sun has gone down and my room is cooler.

Gorgeous card Dawn! Love seeing examples with stamps I also own :)
I don't have great tips for making crafting time. I have way to many hobbies, so I need some time for all of them. I'm lucky to have a crafting desk where my projects can stay on, so when I have some free time (even some minutes) I can continue with it. Thanks for a chance to win! Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

I absolutely love your card. Those little animals are so cute. It's nice to see something a little out of the ordinary for a new baby card too. Love the LOTV stamp. Thanks for the chance. I am very lucky in that I took early retirement and with no children or grandchildren I do get time to craft. Mind you, my husband sometimes wants my time for some reason! Lol! Christine
